Hello, new to this forum. Question is need help w/problem w/ r115 wire feeder /with cp-300 power unit. Wire staying hot even when trigger not pressed.Checked most common trouble shooting variables. Stumped!

One of the CP300's contactor fingers is stuck closed. disconnect the power open up the right side cover, there you'll see the contactor, remove the top cover on it and free the stuck finger. Unit is probaby full of dust, might be a good idea to clean it out.
It's a temporary fix though as you may need a replacement contactor.
