Thought i would share a little about what kind of welding projects i do. This was a bucket bought with a quick attach on the back and customer ended up not wanting. Not much of a market for that size bucket with quick attach option so i removed rear brackets and welded on pin ears and line bored pin holes to finished dimension.

Cool job, I've got a 6' wide excavator bucket coming to my shop on Thursday, The pins on the bucket are about 6'-6" high when the bucket is connected to the machine sitting flat.
The bucket is to heavy for my cranes to lift so we have to leave it on the trailer to do the line boring.
