Good morning all,
Im currently planning to build a sheep handling system which will consist of hurdles and gates and once i get brave maybe a shedding gate or weigher..

i'll be running off my home 13amp fuse so 130amp max setting should keep my fuse in trak.

I will be making these hurdles out of 20mm box x 2mm thick.

what size wire would you reccommend to ensure good weld with Mild steel as above size?

Cool! A mystery welder.

I am going to guess that this is a MIG process and you don't want to use shielding gas so here it is:

.035" Self Shielded Flux Core wire (E71T-GS) @ 145-155 ipm @14 15 Volts.

you are correct- Mig 160 amp and will be used with Agrosheild Universal.
Mig is Clarke 160TM if that helps but i doubt you get this in the states.

Im UK based but this site has great detail so thought id join in and hopefully show my wares when i get onto starting..

He's on 220v @ 13amp fuse, should be ok up to about 16v on a mig.
