Hi, I need some help. I have a Millermatic 130xp and I want to practice some welds on some 1/4" steel plating. I need to know the regulator, wire speed, and amp settings I should start off with. I can adjust the other settings accordingly as I go but I need to also know if the gas regulator setting always remains the same no matter what you are welding. Thanks

I think you should drop down to 1/8" or under to practice on. 1/4" will be pretty tough for that little welder...Bob
