Hi guys, I have a Dialarc and I`m thinking to buy a HF arc starter 251. I want to know if I can attach a foot control to the HF arc starter without use the 14 pin connector that goes from the welder to the HF.

If you have a dialarc DC only machine, seems kinda pointless to use an arc starter, most scratch off a piece of scrap to the work surface.
