    Default Trailer Hitch Coupler ?

    I'm building myself a tandem flatbed trailer. With a low clearance. deck height at 13" empty. So. Far my coupler is at 12" is it to low. What do you guy think.
    Trailers deck is 66x140.
    Miller Bobcat 225NT onan
    Millermatic 211
    Spoolmate 100
    (Retapped to fit regular mig tips)
    Work better & less parts to stock.
    Miller 130xp
    T/A Dragster 85 (portability 11 pounds)
    Oxygen/Acetylene torch set 50'
    2. 4-1/2" grinders
    1. 9" grinder
    14" Makita chop saw
    1/2" Aircat impact gun 900#

    yes 12" is deffinately to low, By the time you put weight on it your looking at 10" then the height of the ball has you down around 6" off the ground.

    Your top of ball should be approximately 18"-20" for a truck height.

    Go measure your tow vehicles ball and account for at least 1" of drop.
