I have a syncrowave 350 LX that has started to have output issues.
When turned on set for TIG with remote current and output, the foot pedal will not start the weld process. If the output is put to "on" and then back to "remote" the pedal will now control the welder. It will weld for several minutes and on/off cylces then the sme issue comes back. Switch to on and back to remote again the output works again.
Have tried another foot pedal with no change in function.
Has anyone seen this before?
Welder s/n is LC230983
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
Jerry

When you say failed contactor, are you refering to the main contactor mounted on the back panel of the machine?

Nope its the one attached to your circuit board. We have had some luck with carefully popping the cap off and shooting the switch with the canned aerosol type wd-40 to free the switch

Pulled the main cicuit board out and don't see a contactor on it. Are you talking about the cube relays on that are mounted on the panel with the capacitor?
I have attached some pics.
Thanks
