Hello everyone and thanks for the forum. Im looking to buy a wire feeder for my Regency250 power source. And im looking at getting a e-xtreme 12vs . If i read the spec sheet correct it says it just requires a power source that is CV and DC power. but theres also a list of power soures for use with the e-treme line and theres no mention of the Regency.
So can i , or cant i run this wire feeder?
Thanks

Yep no problems, as the regency was designed to run a feeder, you just have to jumper "A" & "B" on the regency for the VS feeder to work and away you go....

The 12VS is designed to also work off a CC (stick/TIG) power source making it more versitile and the 12RC is a "plug-n-play" CV feeder for the Regency.
However, distance from the power source is limited with the 12RC due to maximum allowable control cable (feeder power supply) length. So if you want to work more than 25' from the power source - or to the full extent of your welding leads - with the feeder, the 12VS set to operate in CV mode is the wiser choice.MM200 w/spot controller and Spoolmatic 1
