I have an RFCS 5 and need to know if I can change the connector to a 14 pin to use on my Maxstar 91.

Sure, the a,b,c,d.e on the 5 pin is the same installation, lettering on the 14 pin

To standardize everything
Same reason why only to have a couple of preprogrammed board for all machines, instead of having a different board each of them. Less expensive, and more of a standard.
