Need some welding projects with plans?

I need some ideas.. In highschool taking metals I need a good project that will last maybe the whole school year. I had in mind a smoker or bbq, a fire pit with a small grill over it, 12ft V bottom aluminum boat trailer,etc. All ideas and plans are welcome. I can't find any on the project ideas(Not sure if I just don't know how..). I do know most of these plans aren't free,but they'd be highly appreciated. The plans need to have a material list(preferably),measurements, etc. I can't modify these at all(Let alone make my own plans).

This would be a great project, its the plans for a pirogue/canoe. The plans are for wood but you can substitute aluminum. Free from the LSU Ag Center. Good Luck

Thanks for the plans( I do some woodworking as well.) but my shop teacher wants them strictly metal plans. Having some trouble finding decent ones for what I want to make..
