After 32 years of dragging my mower deck out from under the tractor, and sliding it back in, I decided there must be a better way. I bought 4 creeper wheels and the rest was from my "pile of stuff." This worked so well, a rototiller dolly is currently under construction. Why didn't I do this sooner?
(Side note, some green things do last.)

That's a great idea!
I just wrestled my mower deck out last Saturday.
I'm building one next!
Wonder if you could add a brace or something to raise the deck and still be stable so you could clean it, take off blades to sharpen, paint the underside, etc.?
I'll let you know what I come up with.
