As I am getting older I don't want to waste energy lifting a bike onto a stand when I come into the pits. I have seen these bike chocks I thought that I should be able to convert it over to a bike stand.
I drew a cad drawing purchased some materials and started in on the fabrication.

Measure twice and cut once is the little poem that I chant to myself when fabricating. Mark, cut, drill and then TIG that ali.
I have run out of time today so I will upload some more images tomorrow.

Finished product.
Once the bike is pushed into the stand you can service the bike without it falling over.
The main benifit is to ride straight into it and hop off without having to mess around with finding a stand.
