I have been wrecking my brain trying to decide the size of a grill to mount on my receiver nothing too big just small enouhg for camping or tail gating any ideas....................

I would weld up a custom mount for a stainless marine grill. Go to West Marine, or other boating store and buy a nice stainless grill designed for boats. I have one, they last forever, and they're very light weight.

I've been contemplating one myself. I was thinking a 20lbs propane bottle size would be about right. If you Fab it for receiver remember to put good length away from bumper or make it extendable.
