Cornerstone, I think Dr. (BSER) Pipe is probably no more than an average weldor that loves to brag because of his lack of self esteem.

When I say average weldor, I mean that he is like most of us, he gets the job done but with his apparent low self esteem he has to run others down in order to make himself feel good so that he may look in the mirror and tell himself that he is the best. A good weldor does not have to brag, he just does the job and moves on.

Ha that ain't me.... That's a bullshi. T sweatshop I bet all that tech. Yes I said tech not Weldor ... Does nothing but tig all day over and over I bet he can't fit or do much else ... That weld was ugly and tig welding inconel isn't that that hard . You should pass all X-ray tig welding it I'm working on a duplex job that takes a little more skill than that plus he walks the the cup I could freehand and make it look better.. The chair move was cool but that's about it and no real Weldor wears orange...... I can't believe he calls himself the best when cleary i am .,.. He ain't nothing but a sissy ship pipe yard tech hmmmm I bet he gets a tungsten inclusion

I'm not all that impressed.... not trying to brag or anything, but walking the cup doesn't really do anything for me. He's in basically perfect conditions. Lets see how he does in a confined space, welding freehand, looking in a mirror.

I like these guys making a vid and when it's time to show the weld it's always out of focus

The video of the weld was so out of focus that you couldn't tell anything about it
other than he walked the cup doing a root weld you can't see a thing

So i don't see how you could judge his weld Dr.Dimwit

Don't think it was a root pass, looked like a cap to me.

The texture of the weld it's self was out of focus so it's hard to judge how good the weld is by visual inspection

I welded inconel in college and i had no problem doing it
The only problem i had with it was machining it as it does not like interrupted cuts on the lathe when cutting the bevels
