I have a millermatic 35, it was welding and feeding wire just fine, but today it started to feed the wire spuratically and now it wont feed wire at all. Opened up the machine and the connection is made to start the machine but the motor that turns the wire feed wheels will not turn. I assume that the motor is bad, is there any other possibilities that could cause this? If it is the motor, where would one go to purchase a new one? Any help on this would be very helpful! Thanks

Here is the link to the mm35 manual and schematics... plug in your serial number..
http://www.millerwelds.com/service/ownersmanuals.php
also there have been many threads on troubleshooting that model.... you might do a search and read the old threads....

Found out the problem...and have a big dilemma
So I took the drive motor out of the machine and had it looked over at Matheson in Omaha, NE. They told me the motor was shot and that miller no longer offers this motor. I contacted the manufacturer of the motor which is Bodine Electric. They have discontinued that motor back in the 80's. So I am wondering if anyone here has any tips or help in finding a motor or possibly getting mine repaired? Bodine doesn't offer anything that comes even close to comparing to the motor I need. If there is anyone that can offer some help or anything it would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

Thought the drive might be in Vintage parts but its not there. so what were after is any drive assembly thats 12 vdc. That leaves only Lincoln. I'll have to lookup a suitable drive 0-18Vdc. what your after is a complete drive line, ie, motor gearbox, driver rollers.

Well I have the rollers that came with the old motor. If you get a different motor that mounts to the machine in the same way as the old one you still need different rollers and complete assembly inside the machine? Is there a website that you know of that I should be searching to find all of this replacement parts?
