I need to do a CWB tclass pipe test.any one have any pointers? 6 inch schd 80 in a 45. All 1/8 with 6010 root and rest 7018. I do know how to weld pipe but just think this might be more of a pain like the plate tests. Thanks

If your worried about it, your not in a good position.
We do our pipe tickets with the TSSA, not the CWB. P1 and P8
With the TSSA you can use any size filler you want. Your not limited to 1/8 filler like with the CWB.Last edited by snoeproe; 05-21-2012 at 06:04 AM.

I'm not worried about doing it,I have my all position stick certs. I've just never heard of this test before and was wondering if any one had pointers. And I wish I could use 3/32 7018 as well.

You have a lot of oil/gas refineries, co gen energy plants and steam turbines in Alberta. All of them use steam which is produced in boilers that are operated under TSSA guidelines by TSSA certified operating engineers.
