It's been a few years since I've posted on here, but I've been building a ton of stuff and now have a CNC plasma table to boot.
Here's something I'm working on right now.
Removed the front pipe and mid pipe, beginning the Ø3" front pipe section...
Coping with the plasma cutter and a template. I find running low amperage with a 45A nozzle yields less cleanup on the inside of the tube. I'm sure it'd be even easier if I had some anti-spatter spray as well.
It's tight.

I used to have a tough time with SS, but now I just love it, I know I can always improve though.

Rough mock up. There will be a v-band in the long straight section to break up the front pipe from the mid pipe.

Should be putting down 550awhp when the owner is done with it, it's an R32 Skyline.Thermal Arc 185TSW, Lincoln SP135+, 4-post automotive hoist, 2x media blast cabinets, 50 ton press, 80gal air compressor, 4-1/2"x6" bandsaw, 4'x4' Torchmate CNC table with plate marker, Hypertherm Powermax 65 plasma cutter, ultrasonic cleaning stations

Thanks! I haven't taken any vids of it...but I just have to weld up the hangers tonight and the car is coming off the hoist tomorrow. Will have some photos of the entire setup on and off the car. It's been a while since I've had a customer that wanted a full SS exhaust system, so it was a delight to build this setup as he was very particular and I like that in a customer. I think there is approximately 25' of welding in the whole exhaust system, the entire 4" portion was all 15° pie cut sections and there was quite a few to weld in place.
I should have completed pics up shortly.Thermal Arc 185TSW, Lincoln SP135+, 4-post automotive hoist, 2x media blast cabinets, 50 ton press, 80gal air compressor, 4-1/2"x6" bandsaw, 4'x4' Torchmate CNC table with plate marker, Hypertherm Powermax 65 plasma cutter, ultrasonic cleaning stations

Just needs the muffler welded on.

I'll post more pics when it's up on the car.Thermal Arc 185TSW, Lincoln SP135+, 4-post automotive hoist, 2x media blast cabinets, 50 ton press, 80gal air compressor, 4-1/2"x6" bandsaw, 4'x4' Torchmate CNC table with plate marker, Hypertherm Powermax 65 plasma cutter, ultrasonic cleaning stations

Might not look like much, but the bracket was cut on the CNC table. Quicker and easier than doing it by hand.

Lightly polished SS tip welded onto the muffler

All done!

Where did you source the tube and what muffler is that? What engine is this behind?

Why all the pie cuts vs. elbows or bending? None available?
