Why would the foot pedal control, start the arc when depressed, but will not stop the arc completly, when foot pedal is released? Could this be settings?

Sticky Foot petal??
Thanks we are checking on the "Crater Control". Our welder is a Miller Syncro 250 Tig welder. Hold on a minute, I just recieved a radio transmission, Oh GREAT! That was my welder, he said that was the problem. The Crater Control it was enabled, he switched it off and Bingo she's working like a champ now. Thank you!

Glad we could help... and glad you got the situation resolved....
you might want to download the manual and have it for future reference..
just plug in your serial number to get the proper version.
