I just discovered these today. I think this is pretty interesting. Has anyone here used these wires? Are they the same deal as FCAW wires in that they come self or gas shielded? I take it they're a different flux than the FCAW wires. Well, is the core flux or is this really better described as metal core? What are the applications?

I saw those advertised by Premiarc I think. They were for stainless tubing without argon purge.
Who makes the ones you found?

Yes, those stainless rods were the ones I saw. Wondered if there were any others.
