LOL... I've been meaning to do something similar with my trailer. I've got the bits, just haven't gotten around to it. I want to be able to remove it because even thought my 12k winch weighs more than 100 lbs, some kucklehead in Vegas would try to steal it. I bought a receiver tube and slide mount at HF to fab using 3/16" plate as a base welded to the slide mount and the receiver tube welded to the trailer frame.
