    Default Smoked Millermatic 251

Smoke tested my 251. Lots of whistling and smoke. What are the chances it just a shorted capacitor?

Whistling and a smoke show is definately a sign of popped caps. However something took it or them to an over charge state, sooooo you've got likely more than a few problems.
