Here is a custom sign we did for a local steakhouse. Started with waterjet cut profiles and built up from there with 1/8" plate. Lots of welding and shaping with a series of flapdiscs.

that is a fantastic sign. im sure they are stoked!
Im very surprised to see, what looks to be, a 2x2 11ga tube used as the support post coming out of the sign. What's up with that? That seems way too small/thin for the amount of beef you put into the sign itself.

Jimmypop, it is 2x2x1/4". It runs up almost to the top. The sign is actually really stable on three legs, gusseted quite high up the stem. Didn't want anything wider to distract the view.
