first thing would be to download the manual for your serial number unit.... from there go to setup config, and switch settings, troubleshooting.. etc....

i have the manual but it does not have anything about the gas flow. there is no knob or adjustment on the unit for it.

From what I can see of the manual... that unit has a fixed 15 second postflow timer.... is it going longer than 15 seconds???.... study your manual.. and schematic.. is the gas solenoid still energized with 24vac after that time period???

the sylonoid stays energized as long as the unit is on.

you may have a problem with TD1 time delay... leaving GS1 solenoid energized...

Have you timed it? 15 seconds is a long time when you're waiting. Mine actually runs for ~18 seconds.

FYI, others new to the HF-251D have thought they had a problem until they waited long enough for the timer to time out.
