any advice on why im i having a hard time welding on gauge 18,steel sheet.im using a millermatic 210,running on a 0.8 wire,straight co2.what should be the proper setting since burntrought always occurs wen i set voltage to number 3.but on no 2 voltage setting,theres not enough penetration.thnks for ur advices

Is .8 mm wire = to .030? If it is then going to .023 or .6 mm would help. Also switching to a mixed gas such as 75/25 (c25) will not run as hot. Depending on the joint type & position you might have to weld it using small tacks instead of a continuous bead.
