This is a frame for a 4 x 8 table in 1/8 1.5" aluminum tubing, any suggestions on how much to charge? I have to build 24 before march 15

The last alum tubing i bought in that size was 28 bucks for a 12' stick and i am sure its higher now. I would figure how much for the tubing than times it x 3 for welding it up. Sounds like you have a bunch to make...Bob

Three Times The Material Cost For Mig Welding. Five Times The Cost For Tig Welding. Additional One Time Charge To Fabricate Jigs And Fixtures. If You Have The Ability And Can Do The Job, Get Paid For It. We Dont Take On These Projects Because We Need The Practice. Do A Quality Job On Time And You Will Have All The Work You Can Handle, And You Will Be Componsated For Your Skill.

i think it looks a lot easyer than its going to be, jigs are going to be a must. i like DOUG SHAUGHNESSY outlook on it.

Thank you guys I figured that it would take about 6 tubes to make it plus some 1/4 inch plates for the casters base. A fitter and a welder (that one would be me) for a total of $1,690.00 per table frame including casters and fob my shop. Waiting for the client to reply wish me luck!!!!
