Got called out today to repair this front d-shaft center bearing cross member.Was breaking 1/2"thk inner frame plate.Air arc,d out the cracks, cut off the cross member.Welded the cracks grinded them flush.Put on 5/8"thk cover plate welded and plug welded a few spots.Reinstalled cross member with gussets and tied it in the the right side also with 3"x3" hss.
