I built a pair of bunk beds for a family of 3 kids + a bunk for a guest grom. That was an S-load of work.
Great job on your bunks. Looks fantastic.'11 Lincoln Power Mig 216

Very NICE!
Love the design! one question, what is the x that goes along the wall for? I would imagine a welded frame wouldn't need the extra support?
thanks for sharing, let me now if you'd like to work on getting plans posted at www.diyweldingplans.com

cross brace
The cross brace is what sturdies it up. Otherwise it would rock back and forth like a boat. The bed frame is bolted to the ends of course - have to get it through the door. thanks
