Try this...
We have two of these at our shop and I have one for my home shop. Great compressor, perhaps one of the best out there...

air compressor
Hi ya green mt, I don't know if you have any tcs or rual king stores in your area but my dad got a nice 60-gl vertical for around 300-400 and it do's a nice job I think he can run 1/2" impacts, grinder as sanders with out any problems that I know of and I'veused it alot for changeing tires and cut-off tools so it may not be a brand name but its half the price and still do's the job.

i have the husky version of the 60gal from TSC. mine came from Home depot about $400.oo been really happy with it for about 5 years now, no sign of trouble any time soon.
a 2 stage is great but depending on your needs may be more $ than ya can justify. going to a 60 oil compressor is well worth the $ between a little one and the 60. your shop needs really dictate the compressor ya need. a nice IR 2 stage would likely last you a life time if ya have the $$. i expect my husky will give me many more years of great service at my usage level. for a home shop its plenty to keep up with one guy and his air tool.
thanks for the help

summer is here, plant a tree. if you don't have space or time to plant one sponsor some one else to plant one for you. a tree is an investment in our planet, help it out.
