I was looking at a catalog today for bed risers. I had a set of 4 under the bed but with my bed being an adjustable bed, they did not hold up to the weight. I was looking at wooden ones when my mind went into gear and said "Make them out of metal dummy" so I did. Only an hour to make 4 of them from scratch. I used 1/4" x 4 x 4 tubing that I had on stock and 2" angle iron for inside that the wheel fits into perfectly, I also put a 4" flat on the bottom so the edge did not cut into the carpet. They are 5" high and make the bed just the right height.
I also included a pic of another plow dolly I made on Friday.
