While setting up 212 for the first time I ran into postion jumper links question, input voltage 200 or 230? Do i need to buy a voltmeter to check?
I have 200 amp service, it has a 30 amp breaker with # 8 wire I use for my thunderbolt and plasma cutter. Will that work? I plan on installing a 40 amp breaker with #8 for the 212. Am i on the right track?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If this is in your residence/home shop than your service should be 230/240v if you are in the US.
#8 wire & 40 amp breaker will be fine.Last edited by MMW; 09-24-2011 at 04:08 PM.
