Havn't been on lately but time has permitted a couple of small projects.
A small stationary angle grinder and storage space for vise grips and clamps. A garage sale find brought an old VIEL lathe, had a 3/4 hp motor in "stock" some scrap tubing and I have a new tool. The lathe spindle just happened to be 5/8 thread same as an angle grinder, spin on a 9 in disc or whatever fits and go hard. The table is adjustable for angle work. The storage drawer was wasted space so a couple of salvaged slides ,angle iron and plywood painted white for visability makes for quick access to the clamps.

clever use of an old tool
Good idea. Wood lathes seem to be pretty inexpensive on CL.
