    Default Starting Point

    What is a good starting point amperage for welding 1.750 dia. .134wall mild steel
    roll cage tubing with a 185amp inverter tig?

    One amp per .001 wall thickness,. so for .134 wall I"d probably dial in 150 amps and pedal it back if needed.
