This is a buckle I made for a customer. It's the name of his company. It is made out of 10ga. steel with a 1/8" pin for the belt latch and a 3/16" staple that the belt attaches to. I overlayed it with 22ga. german silver.

Any chance you have some photos of the back? Just curious to see the "mounting hardware" that you described.
I've done a couple of buckles, but I have always struggled with the "mounting".
