Fun4now is right. Stupidity should only hurt for the stupid. Unfortunately, that's not always the case. But at least in this case somebody stepped in and fixed the problem before this stupidity hurt someone else. Originally Posted by fun4now

the problem is that all too often one persons stupidity tends to hurt others rather than the stupid one.
this being a good example, the stupid guy that made it is out of the picture bragging about what a great job he did making that 4X4, wile some one else's wife gets run over by it when the steering fails.
i don't mind when a person is stupid enough to jump off a bridge to high into the water and goes splat. stupid did, stupid hurt, all is as it should be. but when he jumps off and lands on me the the kids as we head out for a day of fishing, stupid did and others pay. not good.
this has way too much opportunity for the wrong ones to be hurt.
