new to this site,well not really.signed up in 06.Ihave a welding buisness i started in 04. and its bin pritty good until this past 6 mounths. no one is doing anything.Its like every one stop doing work. so I started making canndle stick stands mail boxes table and chairs ect.ect. dos anyone have any ideas on what else,i would appricate.

How about letting us know where yer from...maybe even posting it in your profile.
Then that would help us have some better ideas as local makes a huge diff in what people really want/need

I was slow so I put an ad on Craigslist wanting to make a offroad bumper for someone for $250...very cheap for a good bumper, but only used maybe $70 in steel.
I had two takers and a lot of interest (I set my limit at the first two responders because I have a big project coming up).
They were both very happy with their bumpers and hopefully they will get me some repeat business at $500 per.

I from south of boston mass, If thats any help to you . I think that just every one is not spending the money now. times are hard for every body at this time. thay say it will pick up by the end of 08 hopfully. Jamscal thats a pretty cool looking bumper, I do some custom stuff also like truck racks are going pretty good make them out of 2 by 2 by 1\8 '' square tubing. sell them any were from 900. to 1500 bucks, depending on what thay are looking for. JIM YOUNG you have some good stuff on your page keep it up nice job thanks for your reply.
