Welding gas pipelines, we use ALOT of 6010. The only difference between the 5P and 5P+ is the flux coating. The newer 5P+ just seems to flow a little nicer and makes for an easier stringer bead. As far as using it for a fence, I don't think you would even notice the difference. JMHO.
