My project is to get Miller Welding manufacturer to take my suggestion.
All I want is another free hat. I will not sue if they use my idea. I just want another hat.

Here it is....
Take the light system that comes with your baseball cap promotional item and incorporate the lights into your new Miller Elite Light welding helmet. which does not exsist.

Awesome Idea......always having problems with lack of light once you're in position to weld......great Idea......maybe even a retrofit for older elite helmets

Just the other day I was tucked up under some pipe and had to have my helper grab my LED light so I could see a little better, great idea!

Here is a simple fix for my old eyes..duct tape and a hard hat style led light..

A couple years ago I found these LED lights w/magnetic base & flex shaft at the local HF for $5/ea. I bought (6), (3) for the shop & (3) for the mobile rig. They were quite handy when welding underneath some of the classic car resto's I do or when I need a bit of additional light on some enclosed jobs welding inside seams. I don't know if they still carry them. Here's a pic.

BTW the baseball cap with light is VERY good when taking a walk at night to let cars see you.
You just turn it around backwards. Amazon.com has one that has a red light beak that goes all around the bill of the cap.

Also I really like the lighted baseball cap when going out to my garage at night to see the lock and to go take tha garbage out at night so I can have my hands free. Scares away the critters before I get there.
