There is going to be a 6X6X3/8 HSS post ""That I already fabricated"" on the corner. It has to clear the guard when they swing the tree around to cut it to length.

In the corner, those are a little globy tacks, the plate was cherry hot and the setting I was on was hot for complete penetration. I'll grind those up and put a nice uphand T-91 fluxcore bead in there
