    Default CV machine

The Pulstar 450 is a CV only welder and 3-phase. Constant Voltage
For stick you need CC. Constant Current

It was seemingly a poor to good machine for its time, but it pulses too slow for virtually any application, and yes it's a 3 phase, CV only machine.

weighs 590 pounds. It is basically two 3 phase cv welders in one case.
To be able to pulse weld you must have the matching feeder.
other wise you only mig weld no pulse
