A success in life sometimes leads to another disappointment in life.
After a lifetime of hunting Razor Back Pigs a really big one unfortunately for him is in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Sometime later you get the call that Mr Big is ready and you rush down to the taxidermist with a fist full of fifties.
The stuffer has done a fantastic job but when you go to secure the mount on your wall you realise that not much thought has gone into a reliable connection, preserving the dignity of this fine animal.
If the mount falls and hits the floor major damage will occur, unrepairable damage.
So Back to the welding bay to fabricate a stainless steel connecting system that can support this 20 kilo or 40 pound mount.

I positioned the mount high enough on the wall so all can walk underneath it without hitting their head on it.
The load dictates that the screws must be fixed into the timber stud behind the gyprock.

With all the prep work done it is time to see this masterpiece hung proudly on the wall.
Displayed with dignity and safety.

I really respect this animal and like him to have his dignity.
My family want to put a Christmas hat on him and other decoration tinsel but I keep telling them that yes he is part of the family but needs to be respected.
They don't get it.

Oh well I keep him safe happy and always looking his best.
