welded sides in , added shelves. thermometer, instead of adding the traditional pipes, headers etc. opted to add a small breather across the back for the smoke and aroma exit..

tacked together and welded. and the top is finished.. i dont really like the thermometer placement so on the next one i'll make a change.. maybe raise to creat a bump between the top and the first bend..

thanks..
i will be working on the bottom this week, adding the vents for air. also building the burner and another stand, or rebuild the one that its sitting on
the goal is to have it finished by the weekend, and weather permitting paint.
The first burn will be a rack of ribs !!
the next project just happens to be a pull behind gas pig cooker. im still gather material together for it, and still choosing again not to use barrels or stacks. nothing against them though.Last edited by wickeds den; 11-29-2010 at 06:03 AM.

finished the bottom today. Added the air inlets to help it breath. Also cut & bent the pipe for the burner. cleaning it up in the morn, weld it and drill the holes. alittle bit of cleanup and fire this puppy up tomorrow hopefully.
