Hello the newbie back again. I figured out the flow meter problem thanks to you guys. but when I adjusted the flow for tigging to around 20 cfm the tungston kept flaring up real bright.Does this have to do with the set flow or do I have another issue going on? Is 20 the proper setting? I really need to get a miller tig book. I have a miller book for GMAW thats great.Thanks

Miller has a "Student Pack" available for $25. I believe it has books covering Tig, Mig, and stick. Buy it, and read the books, save you a lot of headaches down the road. Search around the site, use the tabs above, it'll do you good, amazing the resources available most people don't even know they are there.
Obviously, I'm just a hack-artist, you shouldn't be listening to anything I say .....

Hi Redmule,
First The gas flow meter should be set at 15 to 20 CFH (Cubic Feet per Hour not per minute).
What are you trying to weld?
material, thickness
What tungsten are you using?
What settings have you used on your machine?
What type of gas are you using?
JiGrip it and Rip it
