Over Christmas vacation this year i came out to the panhandle to see my folks. The first day I was here, Dad and I built a tailgate for my 94 to match the headache rack we built a couple months ago. I'll post pictures of those projects soon. We also built a stand for my new bench grinder that i got for Christmas from my grandparents. Then on Christmas day, I opened my gifts and was quite shocked. I got a new pair of welding gloves, a new magnetic square, a 10 lb box of 6011, and the last part really surprised me. Underneath a towel beside the tree was a brand new Thunderbolt XL AC/DC to replace my old AC225. I immediately took it out to Dad's shop and tried it out. We also built a stand to hold it up where i won't have to bend over to set it. Hope to have pictures of this soon also.

Bryce....Sounds like you had a very good Christmas.
Your gifts reflect what your parents & grandparents must see in you. I'm guessing that you enjoy fabricating and metalworking, and that they all wish to see you succeed.
Read a lot. Ask a lot. Practice a lot. LEARN a lot.Later,

Hi Bryce,
Congratulations on some very nice Christmas gifts and Merry Christmas. Someone loves you a great deal.
By the way, are your dad or grandad looking to "adopt" someone?

You have some awesome parents there. Treat them special, its plain to see they think the world of you. I use a Thunderbolt XL AC/DC 200/300 myself, you are going to love it. I welded everything from razor blades to 1" steel (multiple passes). Dont let anyone tell you that you cant weld razor blades with a stick, it can be done, practice, practice, practice.Ken
What else is there besides welding and riding. Besides that
