Found some 1/2" aluminum plate. Used a little preheat for my 200 amp and it went well. The weight was 50lbs and saw, just checking to make sure it wouldn't drop my saw in the floor.
Also welded a tab towards the back to get the blade more in the center.

I bought one of these years ago. It is specific to the Porta Band. It uses 3/4" pipe for legs. I don't know who sells them.

portaband stand
I like all the bandsaw designs, but I chose to mount mine using some of the factory bolt holes and that way I could mount my plate with the slit to the front so I don't have to dismantle the bandsaw to change the blade. It is a real practical thing for me because I cut alot of staniless steel so I go thru blades pretty often.

made my own
I actually made this thinking I was really clever and that nobody had thought of it before, I was wrong

Laying out the holes, drilling, csk, and cutting the slot for the blade took the longest time. Whole thing took probably 1-1/2 hrs over 2 days to make from scrap. Worked very well for about 2 years, now I'm thinking of ways to "improve" it thanks to you guys.
BTW I like the one by swag offroad, if I make another I'll probly adapt some of his ideas.
