Not trying to be a smart a** but what makes you think that there is enough work to support your new business? A lot of guys have folded up in this economy. Have you done your homework?

Main thing these days more than ever is the marketing ability, as a small show one needs to find some kind of niche where he can compete.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=pd_lpo_k...HG8KP2VV1SAJJT Start with "Marketing Warfare", easy to read and then "Positioning". Google Trout, very interesting. The 22 laws is well worth reading and getting a grip on, its the condensed version and laws boiled down to the basics.

s&s .I have been operating my Co for 15yrs now.And this past year has been a tuff one to say the least. Are you willing to work all hrs of the day and night?I can recall countless times i have been out till 10-11pm when the day started at 6am, temps in the teens or hot as !@#$ and wondering if it will ever payoff???Not trying to say you can,t do it but think long and hard if your still young?Myself i,m 39 had back surgery at 36, luckly recovered and still at it.If you build a rig get a big one you need to carry everything when your out there.Wish you the best of luck.
