I have been looking at a TIG machine and the local supply has a Miller 180 Syncrowave on closeout for $1724.00. Is this an unreasonable price? I don't know if its a deal I should pass up or not so any suggestions would be nice.

I think that's way too high.
That's model is no longer made. The new Sync 200 has a lot more to offer for only around $1900 shipped. I have the Sync 180 myself and would love to upgrade to a 200 but uncle sam needed my money more that I did this year.
BTW, I bought my 180SD tigrunner three years ago for $1499.00, shipped. It included a FREE Miller stars and stripes AD helmet.

after making the post I went to ebay and found a company that would ship the 200 for less than the price of the 180 so... its nice to see what other people paid for their equipment to get an idea of what I should be paying. anyone else feel free to guide me to links of where to get this stuff reasonably.

I also like cyber weld, bought a plasma cutter there, no freight. I have a 180 works great but if I had waited, I would have bought the 200. But.....I've yet to run across something the 180 won't weld.
