Well there are hundreds of welds and cuts in this project. Even though I am missing some hardware I have started painting it. I will be finishing it at another location, so the paint needed to go on now.
The gates all four of them, well some of you might think stupid but for my needs they are perfect, the small one at the front will help me when loading my bike on it.
Anyhow I wanted my own design ideas and got them into this project.

With just the two perimeter angle sections from the end of your hitch mount to the front of your axle you look to be lightly framed.

Miller DialArc 250
Lincoln PrecisionTig 275
Hypertherm 900 plasma cutter
Bridgeport "J" head mill...tooled up

Victor Journeyman torch and gauges
3 Gerstner boxes of mostly Starrett tools
Lots of dust bunnies
Too small of a shop at 40 X 59.

Hello Roy, I am not quite sure what you are meaning. I got a trailer company to make the frame for me, with the axle wheels and towing hitch. I then built it frame up. Are you meaning that it is weak at the towning end and if so what should I do. This is my first real project it could be said, so any pointers will be very welcome.
The company charged me less than I could purchase the stuff to do it with, if I had bought them myself.
Cheers,
James.

What is the tongue made from?
Channel or angle
as far as the frame is concerned, it looks way light but I think your top end will give you enough strength for a 3500lb trailer. Just don't remove the top bars over the side doors, it might fold.Live Right Have Fun
