Does anyone have any experience with making one? Looking to build a small one for our pond to fish off of(only about a 1 acre pond so 8x12 or so would be plenty) Designing the deck and cross bridge are a breeze, but I'm not sure what to do about floats or where to get them from? Thanks

I build docks for a living. What state do you live in? I can help with any questions you might have. Travis

plastic barrell's. its what i used. & make sure the construction is in the shape of a giant "T", or else the dock will wobble & tip, the "T" shape stablizes it from rolling on ya. so ya, BIG plastic barrell's that are sealed, u can even put just a small amount of water in them to prevent bouncing bouyancy- but careful wiwth how much.
