I need to make real soon. On my regular job we are filling out more and more charts.

They are about twice the size of regular paper and a PITA using a standard size clipboard with oil soaked hands. Makes you want to turn it into a sail board.

Default Inspired to make the mega board

I made the super size board for 11x17 sheet.

Rounded and smoothed edges all around with Tig.

Used a 2x2 square cube previously made,,, as a pen holder, we use a red and green pen so I made two holes and put smaller holes in bottom to drain oil that gets on pens.

The cube also holds the top edge up a few inches to keep it from sticking and give it an upward angle to write on.

So thanks for the idea, the little store bought boards just wasn't up to the task.

    Great job mate.
That is a lot of TIG welding the edge.
Setting up the work shop can save so much time and looks great to others that see your improvements. I just use scrap most of the time so it only costs a little time. Every one that sees my clipboard asks " Where did you get that from"
With pride I answer "I made it would you like one"

    Great job keep it up!

    Thanks, JI,

I'm going to take it to the guys at work today. Kind of want to keep it, LOL
but I'll make another like yours that is more practical for personal use.

That one is just too big, but holds the charts well.

Before you hand it over make sure you place your name above the clip line.
It will make you feel great every time you see it.
