I built this last year from scrap and surplus donated by my shop. It's 5' deep by 25' long with a 15 degree rake. I used mostly 1x1" and 1x2" and some 2x4" 14G steel. The expanded steel on top was sold to us at cost by a company called Mechanical Metals down in South NJ. The gate was constructed in 3 sections at the shop, teched there, and then disassembled and trucked up to the track where it was installed over the course of a weekend. It works great, has no flex, and it was a pleasure to be able to help the track out with this improvement to their facility. If you race BMX in the northeast, Kingston Point should be on your list of places to ride. It's one of the premier race tracks in the entire northeast region.
